A birth credit covers births after the first insured day and the unpaid time in the two years after each, for up to three births. It adds premium days; it does not move the first insured day.

Example

Example: the 2026 price of 1,100 days after two births, at three daily earnings

Emma (fictitious), a British teacher insured with SGK at a private school in Izmir since 2016, had children in 2019 and 2022. Her record shows 720 unpaid days in the two years after the first birth and 380 after the second, when she went back to work sooner. She enters Births 2 and Days to buy 1100.

  1. Two births allow at most 2 × 720 = 1,440 days, so 1,100 is taken as typed; an empty box would price all 1,440.
  2. Floor: the 2026 gross minimum wage, 33.030,00 TL, ÷ 30 = 1.101,00 TL a day, and 32% of it is 352,32 TL per day bought (the tool writes lira the Turkish way).
  3. 1,100 × 352,32 TL = 387.552,00 TL. With An amount I choose at 1.500 TL, a day costs 480,00 TL; at the ceiling, 9 × the floor = 9.909,00 TL, it costs 3.170,88 TL.
  4. Whichever earning she picks, the result also gives the price at the floor and at the ceiling, so the whole range is in front of her before she applies.
Daily earning Per day (32%) 1,100 days
Floor: 1.101,00 TL 352,32 TL387.552,00 TL
Chosen: 1.500,00 TL 480,00 TL528.000,00 TL
Ceiling: 9.909,00 TL 3.170,88 TL3.487.968,00 TL

At the floor, 387.552,00 TL for 1,100 premium days. The price follows the minimum wage on the day she applies, so it rises with the next increase. Paid within a month of SGK’s notice, the days count; her first insured day stays in 2016.

Frequently asked questions

Who can buy it?
Insured women, for births after their first insured day and the unpaid time in the two years after each, up to three births.
Is it exact?
It follows Law 5510 art. 41 and the 2026 minimum wage; SGK’s notice gives the exact amount.
How much does doğum borçlanması cost in 2026?
At least 352,32 TL a day: 32% of 1.101,00 TL, the 2026 gross minimum wage of 33.030,00 TL divided by 30. One birth’s full 720 days come to 253.670,40 TL at that floor and 2.283.033,60 TL at the ceiling of 9 × the minimum wage. The wage on the day you apply sets the price.
Can I pay only part of it?
You can buy fewer days from the start: type them in Days to buy and only those are priced. After SGK’s notice, paid within a month, the days count; part paid, only the days the payment covers count; nothing paid, the application lapses and a new one is priced at the minimum wage then in force.
Does it move my first insured day?
No. A birth credit adds premium days but leaves the first insured day where it is, unlike military service bought for time before the first insured day, which moves that day back.
Is what I enter uploaded?
No. It is worked out in your browser.
