Frequently asked questions
- Is today counted?
- No: the count runs from tomorrow to the date. The page also shows the total counting today, one more.
- How are weekdays counted?
- Monday to Friday; public holidays are not taken off here.
- How many weeks until a date?
- Shown under the days, as full weeks and the days left over: 223 days is 31 weeks and 6 days.
- How are the months counted?
- In calendar months, from today’s date to the same day of a later month, then the days left over: from 1 November 2026 to 12 June 2027 is 7 months (to 1 June) and 11 days.
- Can it count the days since a date?
- Yes — pick a date in the past and it shows how long ago it was: seen from 1 November 2026, 1 March 2026 was 245 days ago, or 246 counting both days.
- Is anything sent anywhere?
- No. It is worked out in your browser.
